CPG's conference is the only in-person national gathering of lawyers, accountants, paraprofessionals, and students of those professions who serve the cooperative movement. Our Subscribers in the movement are also welcome to join us at the conference for the Member rate. A limited number of full scholarships and half-price scholarships are available for students of law and accounting and Members in need of financial assistance to attend. Please request a scholarship if you need one through the registration link, before you register. We will notify you of scholarship approval.

Location: The 2025 Conference will be held at the Humphrey School Conference Center at the University of Minnesota, 301 S 19th Avenue, Minneapolis, MN. The conference will start in the morning of Thursday, Oct. 2nd and end at approximately 3:00pm on Saturday, Oct 4th, with a tour of local cooperatives that will begin at about 11 a.m.. 

Pre-Conference Public Workshop & Reception: CPG is co-hosting a public pre-conference workshop and reception with Shared Capital Cooperative that is an introduction to the cooperative identity with cooperative legal and accounting highlights. The workshop and reception is a free event for the public at large. No prior experience or knowledge of  cooperatives is necessary. The event is on the afternoon & early evening of Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 2:30 pm to 5 pm at the McKnight Foundation in Minneapolis.  Link to registration for the free workshop and reception here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cooperative-101-tickets-1665518924939?aff=oddtdtcreator

There is an optional dinner on Thursday evening at the Sioux Chef’s Owamni Restaurant, where participants will learn about Mni Sota Makoce, the “Land Where the Waters Reflect the Clouds”, during a presentation on Native American sustainable foods & food systems. There is a space limitation for the Owamni dinner, thus, a reservation is required when you register for the conference. If you registered for the conference but missed registering for the dinner, go back to the registration link and choose only the link to register for the dinner.

The Friday night conference social event does not require prior registration and will be held at: Urban Growler, 2325 Endicott Street in Saint Paul; Urbangrowlerbrewing.com
