+Profile summary
My practice focuses on cooperative law and policy, worker cooperatives, community ownership of land and housing, community cooperatives and land trusts, tenant representation, fair housing, and related areas throughout WA State. I am working with some awesome colleagues to start a collective public interest law practice to provide legal services, counseling, and policy advocacy for and with cooperatives and other social enterprise entities working in the social, solidarity, and sustainable economy. I have a wealth of experience as a legal aid attorney, providing civil legal services and policy advocacy for ten-plus years before working as a senior policy advisor for King County government in WA State for approximately 15 years to create innovative new policies and programs for equitable community development.
