June Webinar: Introduction to Housing Cooperatives featuring Terry Lewis, David Rosebud Sparer, and Jerome Hughes
Please join us on Thursday, June 15th, 2023 at 10am PT/11am MT/12pm CT/1pm ET for our June webinar. We look forward to this introduction to housing cooperatives by three experienced housing co-op lawyers: Terry Lewis, co-op lawyer, policy maker, and Cooperative Hall of Fame member; David Rosebud Sparer, who has over 40 years of experience as a co-op lawyer, and Professor Hughs, who directs UDC’s Community Development Law Clinic. More information about the presenters is available on the event registration page.
Our members-only recordings library has been updated and includes links to our past webinars, including the recording and slides for our May webinar, “What Your Co-op Bylaws Need”, presented by CPA David Antoni and Attorney Todd Eskelsen.
Approval for 1 CLE credit in California is pending.
June 30th Coffee Chat
You’re invited to our June 30th coffee chat. We’ve been alternating between themed coffee chats (like our coffee chat featuring accountants in May) and open coffee chats, where folks can get together to chat about whatever might come up. Our June coffee chat will be an open coffee chat. Come join us, and bring your coffee or another drink, on Friday, June 30th. Chats last one hour and usually start at 10am PT/1pm ET; we’ll send an event announcement and registration link to the Guild network listserv shortly.
Got a theme to propose, a tricky professional question or a co-op project you’d like to talk about, or a co-op community of practice you’d like to learn more about? Reach out to the Membership Circle by email at membership@professionals.coop.
